This Privacy Policy explains how Plasticity LLC ("Plasticity," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the LittleWing mobile application (the "App"). LittleWing is a companion for parents and caregivers, offering activity tracking, developmental milestones, an AI assistant ("Wingie"), and curated product suggestions. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: directly from you, when you create an account, complete your profile, record activities and notes, or interact with the Wingie assistant; and automatically, as you use the App — such as how you interact with features and product suggestions, and diagnostic and crash data. The categories below describe what we collect and how.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect the email address and password you provide. Your email address is used to identify your account, sign you in, and communicate with you about the App. We store your password in a hashed (encrypted) form and never keep it as plain text.
Profile and activity information
LittleWing lets you record information to track your child's daily life and development. This includes the profile details you choose to enter about your child and yourself — such as a name or nickname, birth date, developmental stage, age group, parenting style, and location — as well as the content you create in the App, such as feeding, sleep, and activity logs, milestones, notes, journal entries, and other custom entries. This information is stored with your account so that you can view and manage it, and we use it to provide the App's features to you. You decide what to enter, and you can edit or delete it at any time.
Health-related and sensitive information
Some of the information you may choose to record is sensitive in nature. In particular, LittleWing allows you to enter pregnancy and childbirth information — such as pregnancy status, due dates, and details relating to your child's birth — as part of tracking your journey. We collect this information only when you choose to provide it, and we use it to deliver the App's features to you — including your logs, history, insights, and product suggestions matched to your child's stage. We treat this information as sensitive personal information: we do not sell it, and we do not use it for third-party or cross-app advertising. We may use it within the App to personalize the product recommendations we show you, some of which are affiliate links from which we earn a commission (see "Shopping Links and Affiliate Relationships" below). We do not disclose this information except to the service providers described below who help us operate the App on our behalf.
Conversations with Wingie
When you use the Wingie assistant, we process the questions and messages you send and the responses generated, so that we can provide the feature and maintain your conversation history. To generate replies, the content of your messages is sent to our third-party AI service provider, as described in "How Wingie's AI Features Work" below. Please avoid entering information you do not wish to share; treat Wingie as you would any online assistant.
Usage and interaction data
As you use the App, we may collect information about how you interact with it — such as the features you use, how you navigate content and screens, and which product suggestions you view or tap on. This reflects your interests and shopping tendencies within the App. We use this information to operate, maintain, and improve the App, to understand which features and suggestions are helpful, to personalize the recommendations we show you, and to operate our affiliate relationships. We do not combine this information with data from other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use it for third-party or cross-app advertising or tracking.
Diagnostic and technical information
To detect and fix bugs and keep the App running reliably, we collect diagnostic and crash data and related technical logs. We use this information for troubleshooting and app maintenance only — not for advertising, marketing, or tracking.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App — saving your logs, showing your history, and generating insights and summaries;
- To power Wingie's responses to your questions;
- To maintain, improve, troubleshoot, and secure the App;
- To understand how the App is used and to improve its features and content;
- To personalize your experience, including the insights and product recommendations we show you, based on the information you provide;
- To keep the App and its users safe — we may review certain content, including conversations with the Wingie assistant, when necessary to detect, prevent, or respond to safety, security, fraud, or policy concerns. In some cases, this review may be carried out by trained personnel;
- To respond to your support requests and send you service-related messages;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to serve third-party advertising.
How Wingie's AI Features Work
Wingie's responses are generated by GPT-5.6 Luna, an AI model provided by OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI"), which acts as our third-party AI service provider. To generate helpful, personalized answers, the App sends your questions and related context to the model.
What we send
Depending on how you use Wingie, the information sent to OpenAI to generate a response may include:
- the messages you type in the chat;
- the information in your user profile — except your location;
- when you chat from a child's profile: that child's name, gender, age, and developmental stage; and
- the activities you have logged in the Tracker — when you chat from a child's profile, or when you ask Wingie to generate insights from your tracked activities.
We never send your location to the AI model. If you add it to your profile, we use it only to show local resources, such as regional helplines.
Where it goes
This information is sent to OpenAI, the provider of the GPT-5.6 Luna model, solely to generate Wingie's response. Under our commercial agreement with OpenAI, your inputs and Wingie's responses are not used to train OpenAI's models, and OpenAI is required to protect your information with safeguards that are the same as, or equivalent to, those described in this Policy. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with any other third party for their own purposes.
Because using Wingie involves sending your messages and related context to a third-party AI service, we ask for your consent within the App before you use Wingie for the first time. Wingie remains disabled until you give permission, and you can change your choice at any time in the App's settings. We also encourage you not to include sensitive personal details you would not want shared.
Children's Information
LittleWing is not directed to children and is intended for use only by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 18 (or the equivalent age of majority in your jurisdiction).
Because the App is a parenting tool, you — the parent or caregiver — may choose to enter information about your own child. That information is provided by you, is under your control, and is used only to provide the App's features to you (such as tracking and insights). You can review, edit, or delete this information at any time within the App, or by requesting deletion of your account as described below. If you believe a child has provided us information directly without a parent's involvement, please contact us and we will delete it.
How We Share Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the App — including cloud hosting, database, and authentication services, and our third-party AI service provider (OpenAI), which powers the Wingie assistant as described above. They may process information on our behalf, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us and require them to protect it.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Plasticity.
- Business transfers. If Plasticity is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Whenever we share your information with a third party, we require them by contract to use it only for the purposes we specify and to protect it with safeguards that are the same as, or equivalent to, those described in this Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent purposes.
Shopping Links and Affiliate Relationships
LittleWing shows product suggestions, some of which may be personalized based on the profile and activity information you provide (such as your child's age or stage) so that the suggestions are relevant to you. These suggestions include links to products offered by third-party retailers. As an Amazon Associate, Plasticity earns from qualifying purchases made through these links. Personalizing which products we show you happens within the App; we do not share your personal information with these retailers for this purpose. When you follow a link to a retailer, you leave the App, and any information you provide there is governed by that retailer's own privacy policy, not this one.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You can access and edit most of the information you provide directly within the App. You can also:
- Delete your account. You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the App.
- Update your credentials. You can change the email address or password associated with your account from within the App.
- Exercise your data rights. You may also contact us to request access to a copy of your personal information, correction of information you cannot edit yourself, or deletion of your data. See the regional sections below for additional rights that may apply to you.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. International Users
Plasticity is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
